Mound Ridge Retreat and Mission Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit entity. We offer a peaceful place where individuals and groups alike can relax, refresh, and renew their spirits while enjoying the great outdoors that has been created for us. Our 370.5 acres is among the most sacred and beautiful retreat centers in central Missouri. Mound Ridge rests in the midst of open land oak forest on limestone ridges, and overlooks the gorgeous upper reaches of the spring-fed Meramec River.
This retreat and mission facility offers a peaceful retreat from the fast-paced world. Our many on-site facilities include: a rustic stone lodge, multiple group and single cabins, dining and recreation halls, swimming pool, nature nest, outdoor pavilion, and outdoor chapel, as well as recreational activities and camping/RV areas and nature trails.

We encourage all ages, individuals, families and friends, family reunions, anniversaries, church groups, weddings and other groups to utilize the facilities, maybe take a float trip, fish for trout in the natural surroundings, and explore the beautiful Missouri Ozarks at Mound Ridge Retreat and Mission Center. A summer camp week or weekend retreat at Mound Ridge is a precious memory for many, young and old.. Make it one of yours!
MISSION AND GOALS
Mound Ridge’s goal is to provide a “discounted or cost free” camp experience to underserved middle income children!
Every summer at Mound Ridge, we offer all children ages 5 to 15 an opportunity to attend our camps. This outdoor experience allows kids to be immersed in nature and to have unforgettable adventures in God’s creation. Summer camps also allows children to grow in vital areas such as: community building, self-esteem, independence and interdependence, self-awareness, mindfulness, leadership, courage, helping others, service projects, working with others, respect and being respected, responsibility and resilience.
Having served in the summer camp and retreat arena for several years, we understand that it has become harder for families to afford a summer camp program. So this is what inspired our goal.
It is the philosophy of the Mound Ridge Retreat and Mission Center’s Board of Directors and Staff to provide a place for all to come and gather and participate with highlights of summer experiences for all children.
