Mound Ridge Welcomes Workgroups

Mound Ridge is a gathering place for those that came before, are here at present, and are yet to come!

We are looking for individuals and groups who have talents they would like to share on very specific, short-term tasks such as: painting, landscaping, sewing, carpentry, electrical work, creating gardens or panoramic views, photography or crafts.  Volunteer workgroups are a vital part of the renovation and upkeep of this beautiful outdoor sanctuary.

Adult Volunteer Opportunities

If you are looking for a way to do mission-type work and use your time and talent to enhance the life of a child or youth, Mound Ridge Camp is a great place to be in the summer.  Church camp lends a different element for teaching.

Maintenance - Help with general maintenance and grounds keeping.

Nurse / LPN in Residence - Perfect area to help if retired or off from school.

Arts - Art teachers off for the summer and who would like to spend some time in the "natural classroom" setting.

Camp Musician - Someone with a voice and guitar!

Recreation / Outdoor Education - Camp is a perfect place to be outdoors to teach.

All volunteers will sleep in Kickapoo and all meals will be provided (no air conditioning).  All volunteers 18 years and older will have a criminal background screening.
