Groups and Individual Reservations
-
Reservation requests may
be phoned in or e-mailed to the Camp Registrar or Director.
-
Provided the date
requested is open, the group/individual request will be recorded in
pencil.
-
Reservation form and
invoice will be filled out by the Camp Registrar or Director and
will be e-mailed/faxed/mailed back to the group contact person. The
invoice will reflect a deposit amount and due date .
-
The reservation will be
secured once the deposit is received.
-
If deposit is not
received within a day or two of deposit due date, a call should be
placed letting the Camp Registrar or Director know when it can be
expected.
-
If a reservation is
cancelled:
-
More than 90 days
from the event, 100% refund.
-
60 days from the
event, 50% refund.
-
If cancelled less
than 60 days from the event, the deposit is nonrefundable. Non
refundable deposit may be used for another reservation in the
same calendar year.
-
Unless there are damages
to be reimbursed, the full amount of the deposit will be credited to
the final bill.
Deposit will be held if any damages are incurred.
Final Count/Billing
-
The final count for meals
and lodging must be called in or e-mailed to the
Camp Registrar or
Hospitality Manager by Monday prior to the event date.
-
The final bill will
reflect meals and lodging based on the exact number of person using
the facilities (per person).
-
Final bill will be
e-mailed/faxed/mailed following the event.

Reservations for same
month and days in the next calendar year
-
Reservations for
Presbytery of Giddings-Lovejoy groups may be made at time of
departure for an event at the same time in the next calendar year.

A reminder for the
deposit will be requested starting January 15th through
January 31st.

If deposit is not
obtained by January 31st, that reservation will not be secured, the
group contact person will be notified, and dates will become
available to other requesting groups or individuals.

Mission Workgroups
-
Workgroups are not billed
for lodging if entire group works at least 6 hours for a weekend
group or at least 24 hours for a Monday through Friday group. All
workgroups will be charged per person per meals.
-
Workgroups will be
scheduled to stay in Quapaw cabin, Kickapoo cabin, and Mace Cottage.
-
Linen service is not
available for workgroups.
-
A deposit will
be required – deposit will be credited to the cost of meals.
Retreat
/ Mission Workgroups
-
A Retreat / Mission
Workgroup is identified as any group which has some attendees in the
group not working and only retreating.
-
Weekend Retreat / Mission
Workgroups may request the Retreat Lodge and will be charged for one
night lodging. If staying two nights, the least expensive night is
charged.
-
Retreat / Mission
Workgroups requiring lodging up to four (4) nights will be charged
for two (2) nights lodging.

Meals are charged per
person per meal
-
Linen service is
available for Retreat Lodge at an additional cost.
-
A deposit will
be required. – deposit will be credited to the final bill.
Mission Workgroups and
Retreat/Mission Workgroups should make reservations through the
Director
of Camp and Conference Ministries. The work projects will be
discussed at the time the reservations are made.

Refund Policy
Retreat Cancellation/Refund Policy
-
There is a per person deposit required
for all *hosted retreats.
-
The remainder of the fee is due three (3)
weeks prior to the event.
-
If the registrant cancels 7 days prior to
event; 100% of the event cost is non-refundable.
Camper Cancellation/Refund Policy
-
$75 of registration fee is applied towards
the total camp fee and is non-refundable.
-
Full refunds will be made minus a $75.00
registration fee:
-
If written cancellation is received 10
days prior to the first day of scheduled camp
-
If a documented medical or personal
emergency. i.e illness, accident or death in the family
-
Registration fee may be transferred to
another camp session.
-
If notice is not given and camper does not
show up for scheduled camp, no refund will be given.

Policy for use of the
Challenge and Team Building Course
-
Permission forms will need to be presented
to the Camp Director or Manager upon arrival and check-in.
-
Permission forms for all participants must
be kept on file in the Mound Ridge Camp and Retreat Center office.
-
Tennis shoes must be worn.
-
Jeans or heavy cotton pants (no silky,
nylon type materials) must be worn.
-
Shorts can be worn only if they are long
shorts (NO SHORT SHORTS!)
-
No insect repellent or lotions can be
used.
-
If full figured, must wear shoulder style
harness.
-
Must wear appropriate gear as stated and
instructed by the facilitator.
-
Mound Ridge Camp and Retreat Center holds
the right to remove any person(s) from the Challenge and Team
Building Course that does not follow the safety guidelines.
-
Postings around the course shall be
adhered to.
-
Mound Ridge Camp and Retreat Center will
stay current with the safety standard distributed by the Association
of Challenge Course Technologies of which Mound Ridge Camp and
Retreat Center is a current member.

Riverfront Usage
-
All persons in the water must wear a PFD
(Personal Flotation Device).
-
All children must wear a PFD.
-
All persons in a craft must wear a PFD.
-
All children under the age of 7 must wear
a PFD while in any craft owned by Mound Ridge Camp and Retreat
Center.
-
All parents are responsible for their
children while recreating at the riverfront (no lifeguard on duty.)
-
Adult chaperones are responsible for their
group while recreating at the riverfront.
-
All groups are required to have a
lifeguard present. If one is not available, a waiver needs to
be signed by the person responsible or governing body of the group.
-
All groups will need to sign a waiver when
taking float trips.
-
All individuals will need to sign a waiver
when taking float trips.
-
Mound Ridge Camp and Retreat Center holds
the right to remove any person(s) from the riverfront area that does
not follow the safety guidelines set forth or any person(s) that do
not follow the Missouri State Water Patrol regulations and laws.

"Warning: Under Missouri law, an outfitter is not liable for an
injury to or death of a participant in paddlesport activities
resulting from the inherent risks of paddlesport activities pursuant
